Birch Point Parcel Owners

The Tax Map (R07-A) shown below provides a view of the current owners of the various parcels created by the failed Point East Maritime Village subdivision project in the early-mid 2000s. Due to unpaid property taxes, the Town of Wiscasset foreclosed on the parcels labeled “Tax-Acquired Property.” MSRC holds an exclusive option to acquire Mason Station, LLC, the owner of Parcel 81 (a.k.a. “Remaining Lands of Mason Station, LLC), which is 16.34 acres and includes the former powerhouse, three screen houses, several outbuildings, a portion of the storage warehouse, the existing roads, paper roads, Hilton Pond dam, the streetlights, buffer lots, and all shoreline from the high water mark to the property boundary. Not shown are easement rights held by the now town-owned parcels and Central Maine Power.
